Speak Yourself Well

Most people don't realize that they have power with their own words to make themselves well. Are you accepting illness as the truth, or are you standing on God's Word that tells us "by HIS stripes you were healed"? Which do you choose?

WHAT WE SAY MATTERS

PROVERBS 18:21

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Which fruit do you love? The fruit of death or the fruit of life! You choose!

We must learn that when we read scripture, that every word is intentional and quite often, literally means what it says.

So, what is coming out of your mouth about your health about your life, are you speaking life and health over yourself or are you receiving a bad report (death).

EXAMPLE:

All of a sudden your nose starts to run or drainage down your throat and you say, "I'm catching a cold."

When you speak that out of your mouth, you just gave your body permission to have a cold. It's really that simple you have been snared by your own words.

Instead of owning that you have a cold, take authority over it immediately and say, "I DO NOT HAVE A COLD! GET OFF OF ME NOW IN JESUS NAME. I DON'T RECEIVE THAT! I AM HEALED IN THE NAME OF JESUS!"

Command your body to obey the word of God, and every symptom leave immediately. Then begin to thank the Lord, that He has healed you. Even if the symptoms don't leave right away, keep believing, claim your healing and it and it must go!

JAMES 4:7

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

JAMES 3:10

10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.

The world is full of negative attitudes and people. Often, we are easily persuaded to agree with words spoken in judgement and condemnation. It's a vicious cycle that must be stopped! That is why we must learn wisdom and self-control especially when it comes to our what comes out of our mouth!

DEATH OR LIFE, YOU CHOOSE!

EXAMPLE 1:

John Doe is suffering from chronic pain. He knows something is wrong, but doesn't know what is causing the symptoms. When the pain becomes too much to bare, he finally goes to the doctor, only to receive a bad report. The doctor tells him he has cancer. Immediately, fear grips him because the world tells you cancer is a death sentence most the time. John Doe receives the bad report as truth, and owns it. John Doe gives up and dies 6 months later.

EXAMPLE 2:

Jane Doe has the exact same experience as John Doe, except when Jane got the report she said out of her mouth, "now I know what I'm fighting and I do not receive that." She begins to immediately to resist this report. She calls the cancer out by name, and proclaims, "You have to leave in Jesus name and every symptom with you!" She speaks Gods word over herself continually. Every day she says, "Thank you Lord. I know You healed me and every night as I sleep I am better the next day!" She commands her body to obey the word of God by the stripes of Jesus she was healed. When she goes back for a checkup 6 months later, there is not a cancer cell in her body. Jane Doe received her healing!

If you are a child of God your body is the temple God, he dwells within you. The enemy has no right and has no business in the temple of God. So we must self examine ourselves by asking, Lord what have I been speaking out of my mouth?

What's in my soul that needs to be healed?

What sin have I aloud in your temple?

Is this just an assault of the enemy?

3 JOHN 1:2

2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

PROVERBS 3:7-8

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.

PROVERBS 4:20-22

20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

THE WORD OF GOD IS YOUR MEDICINE

When you speak Gods word in the intent and purpose He ment for it to be, He's got your back.

1 TIMOTHY 6:12-15

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

13 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate,

14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing,

15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, (supreme power) the King of kings and Lord of lords,

PRAYER

Lord thank you for wisdom. Thank you for guidance. Thank you for direction and clarity on how to use my words concerning my health and my life. Thank you Lord, that as I apply these principles to my life, that my body will line up with your word and I will walk in perfect health and victory. Thank you, that you've got my back, because you're not a liar and your word is supreme!

SAY "I CHOOSE LIFE!!"

17 I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD.

JOHN 11:4

4 When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

ISAIAH 53:5

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we (I AM )are healed.

PSALMS 107:20

20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from all their destructions.
