Do you have a lack of respect for others? For the Word of God? Do you resist correction?

Are you impudent?

In Ezekiel 3:7 the Lord calls this people IMPUDENT and hard-hearted. They refused to listen to the Word.

Is this you?

Before you answer, lets take a look at what impudent means. You'll see how it's a direct reflection of the body of Christ and how a spirit of religion, combined with our own stubbornness and pride is our downfall.

IMPUDENT

1: not showing due respect for another person; impertinent.

synonyms: impertinent, insolent, cheeky, cocky, brazen, bold, audacious;

2: marked by contemptuous or cocky boldness or disregard of others : insolent

EZEKIEL 3:7

7 BUT THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU, BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO ME; FOR ALL THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL IS IMPUDENT AND HARD-HARTED.

WE WANT IT OUR WAY, AND WE WANT IT NOW!

PROVERBS 14:12

12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

In Ezekiel Chapter 3, God is giving His people a warning through the man of God, I believe He is doing this now for us, a line has been drawn, and He is purifying His bride. His word says judgement begins in the House of God.

1 PETER 4:17

17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Do you have ears to hear and a heart to repent quickly? Will you allow Jesus to truly transform this in your life?

REVELATIONS 2:29 ( JESUS SPEAKING )

29 “He who has an ear, LET HIM HEAR what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

The Word also says, "a father who loves his son disciplines him". Our Heavenly Father loves us beyond comprehension. We need this kind of love that corrects us in LOVE, so that we can go to the next level of greatness and new heights in our relationship with Him!

THE WORD OF PROMISE

PROVERBS3:11-12

11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, nor detest His correction;

12 For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.

These words of John the Baptist are SHOUTING at us (the Church) with a resounding shout, like never before, because the kingdom of heaven HAS come down and must MANIFEST IN US! He's cleaning us up inside, and correcting our hearts so that we can carry this mantle to the world! A mantle of power, authority, miracles and demonstrations of Almighty God!

Matthew 3:1-3

1 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea,

2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ”

Are you ready? Are you willing? Will you repent quickly?

As you allow God to the crooked places straight in your life, and correct your heart, it will bring you into an extraordinary supernatural life that He desires for you to have! As you surrender to His will and seek His face, you will begin to see a relationship with him you never dreamed possible!

RUN AFTER HIM AND HE WILL RUN AFTER YOU!

Last year, the Lord woke me up by whispering into my ear, "I AM making the crooked places straight, those things spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and in the natural." As I began to write this word from the Lord down in my iPad, supernaturally the word spurious autocorrected itself into the sentence, so that is read like this:

"I AM, making the crooked ways straight: those SPURIOUS things spiritually, mentally, emotionally and in the natural."

The word spurious means those things that are not genuine, they are not authentic, and they are not of God. He is promising us that he is correcting things within us to make room for what good things he has in store! Let Him rearrange your life!

PRAYER

Here I am Lord! Show me what I need to repent of. Remove deception from my life! I repent of pride and choose to be humble at all times. I give you permission to remove those spurious things in my life and make them straight. Teach me what it truly means to run after you and lead me into living heaven on earth as you meant in your word as my reality.

So be it, in Jesus name.
