Kingdom Living

What is kingdom living? What does it look like? How do we obtain it and how do we get there? IT IS LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY! IT IS IN YOU! IT IS SUPERNATURAL HEALTH! IT IS SUPERNATURAL PROVISIONS AND PROSPERITY IT IS POWER TO HAVE DOMINION AND SUBDUE THE WORLD!

We can obtain Kingdom Living because of Christ our King, who bought back our victory at the cross!

LUKE 12:32 32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

THE CROSS WAS NECESSARY

Once again, as Easter rolls around, we turn our focus to Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. But many of us miss the entire purpose of why Jesus came. Yes, we must acknowledge that the cross was necessary. It was a requirement for our salvation! It's the fulfillment of prophecy and the hope for all who will believe in Him. BUT, it was just the beginning! We have missed the mark for centuries focusing on His death and not the life He came to give us!

JESUS CAME PREACHING THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

MATTHEW 9:3535 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

The Kingdom of Heaven was His heart and sole desire. Jesus taught only kingdom principles, because we were all meant to live on earth as it is in heaven. This is what Satan stole from us in the garden, and on the cross, Jesus bought it back for us. JOHN 10:10-11 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

JESUS SAID SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM

MATTHEW 6:33 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. RUN after Him! By doing so you are seeking first the kingdom of God and and his righteousness now all these things will be added unto you! But, what exactly is righteousness? Simply put, righteousness is right standing with god by belief in Jesus and obeying His word. It really is quite easy to live a Kingdom Life, if we will just apply the Word to our life.

MATTHEW 16:19 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Start implementing these instructions for life God gave us in the Ten Commandments: 1. You shall have no other gods before Me. 2, You shall make no idols. 3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. 4. Keep the Sabbath day holy. 5. Honor your father and your mother. 6. You shall not murder. 7. You shall not commit adultery. 8. You shall not steal. 9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 10. You shall not covet.

JESUS TAUGHT US TO PRAY

MATTHEW 6:9-13 9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Let's break it down bit by bit:

1. HONOR HIS HOLINESS

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

2. ACCEPT THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE

Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. 3. OUR DAILY BREAD IS THE WORD OF GOD (Are you reading it?)

Give us this day our daily bread. 4. HE FORGAVE YOU EVERYTHING - DO THE SAME

And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. 5. PRAY THE HE DELIVER YOU FROM EVIL AND TEMPTATION - ACKNOWLEDGE IT IS HIS KINGDOM, HE HAS ALL THE GLORY AND POWER - AND PRAISE HIM THAT YOU GET TO BE APART OF IT

And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

PRAYER

Father God, lead me and teach me how to live a kingdom life, on earth as it is in heaven. Give me understanding of this truth so that I might walk in it! Give me the supernatural keys of the kingdom so that I may bind them to myself and unlock the the mysteries of Your Word. Give me an obedient heart to obey and seek You first in every area of my life. Thank you Jesus for Your sacrifice on the cross for me. Thank You for conquering sin and death, so that I am able to live a kingdom life! Amen
