The Lord Has Good Plans For His Children
2017 NEW YEARS BLESSINGS
PSALMS 65:11
11 YOU CROWN THE YEAR WITH YOUR GOODNESS, AND YOUR PATHS DRIP WITH ABUNDANCE.
The goodness of God is unmeasurable! We saw so much take place in the last year and we are expecting even more in 2017. Prayers for our families and church body are being answered daily. God has also heard the cries of our nation, and has granted us repentance, that we may know the truth of His word. This year, I believe we will begin to see God do things in our homes, our church, our community and our country that we have never seen before. The best part is, that it's all for HIS glory!
The goodness God has for His children speaks into the very depths of our soul. For those of us who allow God to move in our lives, blessings of health, deliverance and victory should be the norm. God is constantly giving us His outstretched hand. Jesus wants to pour out His goodness, salvation, cleansing power, restoration, healing, and above all His unmeasurable love for each and every one of us.
2 CHRONICLES 7:14
– If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
1 JOHN 1:9 –
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
ACTS 3:19 –
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be BLOTTED OUT, when the times of REFRESHING shall come from the presence of the Lord;
EZEKIEL 18:21-23 –
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
ACTS 17:30
AND THE TIMES WITH THIS IGNORANCE GOD WINKED AT; BUT NOW COMMANDS ALL MEN EVERYWHERE TO REPENT:
ABUNDANCE COMES AFTER REPENTANCE
I received a revelation from the Lord recently that He is making the crooked ways straight. Those spurious things that are not genuine, authentic, and not of God will be straightened out. That means that ALL things: spiritually, mentally, and physically that do not line up with the Word of God, will be corrected this year.
Many of us have been taught incorrect logic by, parents, teachers, our government, and even pastors that has been twisted from the truth of God's Word. He is exposing these things and will not tolerate this injustice any longer. His desire is to bless and prosper us, but to do that, He sometimes needs to correct his children.
3 JOHN 1:2-3
2 BELOVED, I PRAY THAT YOU MAY PROSPER IN ALL THINGS AND BE IN HEALTH, JUST AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS.
3 For I REJOICE GREATLY when brethren came and testified of the TRUTH that is in you, just as you walk in the TRUTH.
Read that again and again until you believe it! Get it deep in your spirit. He wants us to walk in TRUTH! Many of us have been believing lies of the enemy and not walking in biblical truth.
REVELATION OF TRUTH - FEELINGS WILL LIE
Deception distorts everything. Many of us are led by our emotions. It has been so ingrained in our minds, that what we feel is our perceived truth. But often, we are in bondage from soul wounds (damage to our mind, will and emotions) that have had control of our actions. Jesus came to heal those wounds and set us free from those chains. Once these soul wounds or 'crooked' ways of thinking are made straight, we will begin to prosper in every area of life.
*Note - Too often, we think that being prosperous means having an abundance of wealth. While that is a part of it, the bible says that your soul must prosper first, and then health will be restored to you. Truly prospering in God means that you will have an abundance of health: spiritually, emotionally, physically and of course financially.
As you go into this new year, reflect on things in your life that you may need to 'straighten out' or align with God's word.
PRAYER
Matthew 6:9–13 “Pray then like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'” For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever.
Amen
