Uncomfortable Change Is A Blessing

UNCOMFORTABLE CHANGE IS A BLESSING

How can something be a blessing if it doesn't feel good in the moment? I'm sure at one time or another you've had that thought. Many of any of us are at a point in our lives, where we are experiencing discomfort, and we've all have been there at one time or another. Our nation is going through a season of what I compare to being pregnant and experiencing labor pains. During a woman's pregnancy, many changes happen to her body and her emotions as hormone changes take place. Emotions run high and often logic seems to be all over the place. Her body gets bent out of shape and stretch marks sometimes appear. She has fears about the safety of her baby and struggles with thoughts like, 'can I handle this?", "Am I ready?", and "Will I ever get my body back?". As time goes by and she is on the brink of delivery, the feeling is so uncomfortable that she begs God to let this baby come today!

I believe many of us have been building our faith up to the point that we feel 9 months pregnant and we are desperately waiting for a mighty move of God to begin! Let me assure you that it has begun! There is no stopping it, and this mighty move of God WILL come forth! Amen.

The shifting and changes going on in your life and our nation has to do with God's preparation for this great outpouring. People are confused and are wondering what is going on. For many, your life has been rearranged and left you at a place where you completely have to trust God because you can’t do on your own. If your situation feels like it’s beyond your control, that means you are in need of a supernatural God to intervene on your behalf!

LABOR PAINS

Bringing us back to the comparison of a woman in labor: As her contractions begin, it can be very scary as her body must open up and stretch in order to push the baby out. So too with God, we (followers of Christ) have to be willing to stretch beyond our selves and our thinking. Our old belief systems have to die in order receive what he is birthing. Yes, it may be uncomfortable, but it's NECESSARY. For us too move us into this new place with God, we have to let HE has for us with new wine skins, the old ones won’t cut it. If you are unwilling to change then you will find yourself on the outside looking in and be found wanting.

JOHN16:21

21 A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.

DANIEL 5:24-29

24 Then the fingers of the hand were sent from Him, and this writing was written.

25 “And this is the inscription that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

26 This is the interpretation of each word. MENE: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it;

27 TEKEL: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting;

28 PERES: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.”

29 Then Belshazzar gave the command, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a chain of gold around his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.

PRESIDENT'S PROPHETIC SPEACH

This is amazing, and a perfect example, when Trump was making his expectance speech he was prophesying and fulfilling this very thing. When he said we are taking the control out of hands of the government and putting it BACK into the hands of the people, and the KEY principal was in his next statement, INTO THE HANDS OF THE RIGHTEOUS AND RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE.

TO RULE AS CHRIST INTENDED

The kingdoms we have built must die in order to rule with Christ in this move of God, We must take ourselves out of this worlds systems, its way (our way) of doing things. Examples that will look different to your normal, is worship that’s stuck in old ways, the way we look at and handle money, health that’s supernatural, how we handle relationships and love people. Trusting and believing God because anything is possible with him. His kingdom being established in us as never before is worth all the labor pains and stretching beyond ourselves to have and live in this. So yes just like giving birth to a baby, as soon as the child is born you forget the pain you went through for the JOY that God has brought you. UNEXPLAINABLE!

OUT WITH THE OLD-IN WITH THE NEW

This is more real right now that ever before as we start at the door about to burst opened by GOD and poor out upon us fresh WINE OF HIS SPIRIT. I encourage you to allow God to have you and make ALL THINGS NEW!

MATTHEW 9:16-17

16 No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse.

17 Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

ISAIAH 43:18-19

18 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

REVELATIONS 21:5

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

PRAYER

Oh Lord God, I don’t understand all that is going on but I lay it at your feet. My life is yours, do in me what you must to prepare me to receive all of you and what you are doing, I don’t want to miss out on any of it. Give me wisdom and understanding what’s going on with the right attitude and willingness to change and be stretched into your glorious image. May I be quick to obey, repent and forgive. Purge out all darkness in me, I want no part of it, instead fill me with your glory.
